Doctors’ rounds on the wards take place in every morning from 7:30am on wards.

This early hour of the day is necessary as our surgery programme begins at 8:00am. Starting doctors’ rounds at 7:30am enable them to visit all patients in the clinic before the surgery programme starts in order to review any changes.

The Chief Physician visits the individual wards in the morning from 7:30am on wards.

All patients are examined again in the afternoon of the day of surgery.

Specific problems can also be discussed with the doctors at your bedside.
This is often only possible in the afternoon once the surgery programme and our consultations have been completed.
