Preliminary Examinations
In most cases, preliminary examinations are performed during an outpatient (pre-inpatient) appointment.
These can include, as appropriate:
- ECG
- X-ray examination of the lungs
- Recording of case history
- Pre-anaesthetic briefing
- Possible further specialised examinations, depending on the disorder
