The purpose of trauma surgery is the conservative and surgical treatment of occupational and sports and leisure injuries. We offer modern osteosynthesis techniques for the entire skeleton. Treatment of soft tissue injuries is performed in cooperation with the in-house Clinic for Plastic Surgery, Hand and Reconstructive Surgery in cases of major tissue loss and in cooperation with the Clinic for Vascular Surgery where vascular injuries are also involved.

We are also able to provide a selection of modern treatment methods ranging from arthroscopy to total joint replacement for degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system  in cooperation with the Orthopaedic Surgery Department.

Where necessary, all patients in our clinic are also cared for by the Clinic for Interdisciplinary Early Rehabilitation. Intensive physiotherapeutic exercise treatment begins during a patient’s inpatient stay and follow-up treatments and rehabilitation are arranged for you .
