In the Internal Medicine Clinic, patients with acute and chronic diseases are examined and treated using the latest methods in line with current German and international guidelines.
Patients with acute diseases are treated 24 hours a day using cutting-edge medical technology in our medical emergency ward. A special treatment unit, the Chest Pain Unit, looks after patients with unexplained chest pain. In the event of acute myocardial infarction, acute narrowing of coronary arteries can , for example, be treated by dilating with catheters (balloon interventions or stents) in modern cardiac catheterisation laboratories. Other diagnostic and therapeutic measures may also be used.
These pages will tell you more about our clinic’s structure and range of services and give you an insight into our clinical activities. We particularly focus on:
Alongside the induction and further training of medical staff devised by the Clinic for Internal Medicine, daily in-house and regular German training events contribute towards providing our patients with consistently high-quality medical care. At the same time, we maintain a close professional and personal dialogue with our referring colleagues and with colleagues from collaborating clinics.
