The Clinic for Gynaecology and Obstetrics has 45 beds available in modern and pleasantly furnished patient rooms with ensuite bathrooms and showers. The rooms also contain a  shared television and a telephone for each bed.

As part of the hospital’s duties as the academic teaching hospital of the RWTH Aachen University, it is possible for 24 students to train every four months in their practical year at the St.-Antonius-Hospital. The Clinic for Gynaecology and Obstetrics offers regular further training sessions using gynaecological and obstetrical subjects as part of its weekly training curriculum.

For diagnostic procedures, state-of-the-art equipment is available for ultrasound, obstetrical Doppler sonography, breast diagnostics and urodynamics.

Outpatient operations are performed using modern technical methods. The surgical team and the nursing staff work in close cooperation with the Clinic for Anaesthesia and Surgical Intensive Care.
